COUPLES DANCING LESSONS

Each class is one night per week for 7 weeks (6 weeks of instruction and group dance during the final week).

BEGINNERS COUPLES DANCING

This class will teach the basic patterns in the Rumba, Waltz, Foxtrot, and Swing.  Join in a fun, easy-to-learn environment, and learn to dance to a variety of musical genres including big band, rock and roll, country, and contemporary.  Enjoy spending time learning a new skill as a couple and be prepared for a variety of social dance events. Class is one night per week for 7 weeks (6 weeks of instruction and group dance during the final week). Build your skills by taking Couples Dancing Continued after completing the Beginners class.  Ages 16+.

  • Attire:  Casual, with comfortable shoes that glide easily

  • Max Capacity:  20 couples

  • Location:  Crosby Township Community Center

COUPLES DANCING CONTINUED

The fun continues for our dancing couples who can build on the ballroom basics learned in “Beginners Couples Dancing.”  This class will add new patterns to the Foxtrot, Rumba, Swing, and Waltz as well as introduce couples to the always popular and exciting Cha Cha, Tango, and Slow Dance.  More focus will be placed on styling techniques and combining patterns for fluid movement.  Class is one night per week for 7 weeks (6 weeks of instruction and group dance during the final week).  Completion of “Beginners Couples Dancing” required.  Ages 16+.

  • Attire:  Casual, with comfortable shoes that glide easily

  • Max Capacity:  20 couples

  • Location:  Crosby Township Community Center
